I heard eric interviewed a week ago, bought the book, had one reconnective healing session done, and am going to have another one tomorrow. i feel so much better and for the first time in a long time, I don’t feel my borderline ulcer. I still smoke cigarettes though. Oh well. But mentally , feel great. I never thought it was possible to feel pokings and yet no hand was touching me.

…What I learned was, I forgot the technique, just relaxed, but kept my hands like I was holding an energy ball and bam. So, I do believe his biggest difference from others is, forget techniques and allow the universe to surprise you:) Just my 10 cents..inflation:)

When I think back, to one day at the beginning when I was trying to run energy and use techniques, I just relaxed and my mind went blank for about 3-5 minutes then my “whole” body began to buzz and I mean buzz to the point I thought I was going to shoot huge energy thru my fingers tips. Just finished The Reconnection book and have studied so many different energy modalities as if I were going to write my thesis. What I enjoyed and do believe Eric teaches is, get rid of our techniques! We should start with them as if training wheels, but be “aware” that they are just that, training wheels and thus thank the technique and transcend them. (Continued below..word count☹)

What Dr. Pearl is speaking of is not Reiki in the form a technique; energy is energy and it’s all the same thing from the same source. He refers to his modality as “The Reconnection” but he explains in many places that it’s all the same. While some may practice Reiki, other Quantum Energy, etc… in the end we all tap into the same thing and it’s available to everyone in any way we wish to access it.
